Family Vacation

A "holiday" that won't soon be forgotten!  So many memories were made.  5 days went by too quickly.  19 kids aged 10 months to 11 years.

I've posted a whole bunch of photos on Facebook already but I'll post a bunch more here.  Another post where I'll let the photos do the talking.

We wanted to catch the 7:45am ferry so we left our place at 5:45am.   The morning sky was so beautiful and it was so peaceful out at that time of morning.  (calm before the storm, lol)

The Children sat oh so nicely as we waited to board the Ferry!  They are actually fantastic travellers.  And we didn't have a long wait at all :)
We had the Ferry pretty much to ourselves that morning.  It was wonderful.  The kids could run around and play without disturbing anyone.  I think this photo below shows off their individual personalities just perfectly.
A short ride later and here we are!!!  Riverside Resort and Campground.  This place could not have been more perfect.  (is that proper English?  perfecter... perfecty... perfectist???)
We arrived a little early for check in time so we made sure they did a good job cleaning our cabin ;)

To kill time we played on the AWESOME playground at the campground.  Big and small, we all had fun!

Home Sweet Home for the next 5 days.  A 2 bedroom cabin that fit the 8 of us perfectly!

I could write a post a mile long about all the fun we had and the benefits of a big family.  I'll keep it ASAP (as short as possible) and show you some of my fav pics from the trip.  Enjoy :)

There was always so much water fun for all the kids

Our breakfast hang out.  A short walk to a smorgasbord.  No one wants to sit by Kyle (he smells) ;)

On the way home.... so windy!!!

One thing I should also mention... this WHOLE TRIP was a gift!!!  My extremely generous mom and step dad gave this to all of us kids as a gift!  Merry Christmas to us!  I'll trade in any material possession any day for all the memories that were made here!   Thank you Mom and Dave!

I would love to share more photos and memories with you but I guess you'll just have to come for coffee one day :)

Thanks for stopping by!
