How does one write a blog?

Well, here we go!

I read blogs, I love blogs... and now I have one! 

I am not a gifted writer and I got HORRIBLE marks in English class.  So, pardon my grammar and punctuation.  I use a lot of (!) when I write and a lot of (...) too.  You'll get used to it.

I wanted to start writing a blog because I need an outlet of some sort.  I need to write things down sometimes.  I may brag about my kids (I have 6 of them), I may share some of my life's story, I may share my struggles, I will share some recipes and probably post a photo or two.  Most of the time I'll try to keep it positive but I want to be real and I want to share it all.  I am not perfect (actually, I'm not even close) but that's ok!

I've titled my blog "I'm Doing This Without Drugs" for a couple different reasons... as I mentioned I have 6 kids and sometimes I feel like I should be drugged... I currently :) am not on any drugs of any sort (unless coffee is a drug then I'm doomed).  Sometimes people question the fact that I don't take any "uppers" or Zoloft, etc, but I really really don't.  They tell me I'm brave for having 6 kids and not being on some sort of pill.  Lol (yes, I say lol too)  Another reason for the title is I've always said that one day I want to write a book and the title would be "I'm Doing This Without Drugs"  So while I will probably never write a book, I figure a blog with this title will count too.

I'm a little rough around the edges and I am definitely NOT prim and proper, some might even say I'm a bit redneck, but I'm happy, I love my life.  I apologise in advance if anything I say or post is offencive in any way, but the good news is... you have the choice to click the little red x on the top right of your screen if that happens.  Phew!
