Did You Know...?

Did you know...

-That this post will be lengthy?
-That the first letter of all our kids names put together spell BANANA?

-That I love to talk about my kids?
-That I have been with my hubby for just over half my life?
-That I am still madly in love with said hubby after being with him for almost 16 years?
-That having 6 children is not only the hardest job in the world but the most rewarding?
-That I wanted to have 6 kids every since I was 6 years old?
-That some days I would love nothing more than to be alone for half an hour?
-That the most annoying question I've ever been asked is "Do you know how to stop having children?" or "Were they all planned?"  Arggh.?
-That we are sadly done having kids and YES I will get over it?
-That I am a sucker for a newborn baby?  If I could do nothing but hold a newborn for days on end, I would.  I wouldn't care HOW full my bladder was.
-That we are MOVING!!!?  We've lived in our current home for almost 10 years now.  We came here with an 18 month old baby, a crib, table, 1 set of couches and a bed... we have since accumulated much much more junk stuff.  Sometime in the fall we'll pack up this house full of junk stuff and move to the country.  This is a dream come true for me.  I still wake up and don't dare to believe it.  All the many times I've pleaded with the Lord to get me out of this subdivision, out of the noise of the barking dogs and cars racing up and down the road, the dream of one day being able to raise my family in the country the way I was raised.  The Lord has heard and answered my prayer.  I am so thankful!

-That the thing I fear most... wait for it... is bees and wasps?  Yup, nothing scares me more.  I have a paralysing fear of those buzzy, winged insects.  My head goes numb and my legs get all tingly and I go kinda crazy.  I'm not even allergic to them and I honestly can't help it.  Maybe Oprah can help me on one of those "get over your fears" shows she does ;)
-That I am so not an Oprah fan?  I'm scared of her too, she make take over the world one day.
-That I LOVE to sing?  Doesn't mean I'm good at it but I love to sing.  Mostly praise music or silly kids songs.  My kids all love to sing too.  I could listen to them sing all day... well... not when I have a headache or 4 kids are singing different songs at different times or when the first line of one song is sung over and over and over and over and over... you get the point!
-That I adore my family (I'm talking extended family now, it's not ALL about my kids) :)  I have thee greatest sisters EVER and my brothers are not only handsome but awesome too.  My inlaws are great, my nieces and nephews rock, Jarno's side is amazing, my folks and step folks all love me... what more could a girl ask for?
-That I am overwhelmed when I think of what Jesus did for me on the cross?  I am a sinner.  I deserve death.  But seriously, Jesus loves me so much that He gave His life in the place of mine!  Who does that?  Thank you Lord!
-That something I really want to work on is being more like Christ!?  I want people to know I'm a Christian when they meet me.  As I said, I'm working on this one...
-That I love fun, I love people, I love food (working on that too), I love love?
-That this post is looooong enough now?  I had better save some for later...
